About Uncharted Game Series

We've been long time fans of Naughty Dog since the day they released the still famous "Crash Team Racing," which was introduced on the original Playstation.  At that time, we even checked out Naughty Dog's website and viewed the staff photos and saw a team that made games created to be played for fun and enjoyment.  Naughty Dog matured with its massive hit "Uncharted: Drake's Fortune" and "Uncharted 2: Among Thieves," but made sure they didn't lose any of the "fun and enjoyment" they're known to create.

Take a look at the Uncharted series thus far and learn more about the games...

UNCHARTED 2: AMONG THIEVES
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (below) shocked the world with its amazing graphical fidelity, smooth gunplay complete with an excellent cover system, and a great story to boot.  But there was one thing missing: multiplayer.  We've had the opportunity to first get our toes dirty (and snowy!) in the Uncharted 2 Multiplayer Beta - which we were incredibly thankful to play.  What's extremely surprising and satisfying is to see the gameplay that was so beloved in singeplayer completely intact in multiplayer.  There's a ton of features both offline and online, but we still shake our heads in disbelief that Naughty Dog manage to fit this much in the game.

On the side of multiplayer, there's a load of modes, including Co-op Objective, Co-op Arena (survive as long as you can), Team Deathmatch (with variations), Team Objective (Plunder adds a new twist to capturing an item!), and more.  There's even Boosters, which give you access to abilities like faster movement while using the iron sights, and so much more.  Plus (my favorite) there's tons of your favorite characters to unlock and play, including Drake, Chloe, Sully, Elena, and more...

Quoting Evan Wells, Co-President Naughty Dog about the single player campaign: "The rest of our team at Naughty Dog has been hard at work pushing our engine to its limits while creating a campaign that is more expansive and more ambitious than UNCHARTED: Drake’s Fortune. They’ve even learned a few tricks from our multiplayer and co-op development – truly a win-win situation as all aspects of UNCHARTED 2 are benefiting from the work we’re putting into both single player and multiplayer modes."  Check out tons of Uncharted 2 videos here!

UNCHARTED: DRAKE'S FORTUNE
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is now known as my favorite game of all time - and yes, I have a tendency of repeating this all the time to my brothers and friends.  We're talking Uncharted: Drake's Fortune at the moment, but know that 'Among Thieves will be crowned king in my library of games.  I had the opportunity to write a review for Uncharted: Drake's Fortune at our network site, Best of Videogames.  Here's a sample of what I had to say and you can also check out the full, written review too...

"Naughty Dog didn't spare a single polygon in this masterpiece.  While polygon counts are all the rage (and definitely should be), the animation in Uncharted really puts this game on top shelf.  Nathan Drake, the young, ambitious character you take on, is easily separated in the waves of games that usually take the approach of "ultimate badass."  The supporting cast and script is incredibly sharp, so the story is something you'll care about too.  Drake is an easy-going type of guy.  This definitely showing through many of the breathtaking cutscenes in the game.

"We'll tell you that there is exploring, shooting, and fast-paced, precise cover mechanics to go along with it.  The cover is a bit more precise and a lot more forgiving than even in such titles as Gears of War; when we say this, we mean you won't be tangled between either dodging or taking cover.  It's one or the other; it's precision.  That's the perfect word to also describe the level of control you have over the third-person gunplay.  While Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter stuck you to over-the-shoulder all the time, the camera in Uncharted allows for a lot more maneuverability and freedom."  Read The Full Written Review and "Best Third Person Shooter Award" Article Here!
