Uncharted Online has been given a grand opportunity: We now have the ability to record and share any type of Uncharted 2 (or gaming) footage with you all.  We know that many of you are itching to show the world your abilities online, so we're going to be recording every moment you spend with us online and share it right here at Uncharted Online. GiantBomb recently revealed their list of the best games of 2009, but Uncharted 2 came out on top receiving the "Game of the Year Award."  Here's just some of what they had to say: "Uncharted 2 is also an absolutely gorgeous-looking game, the best we've seen in 2009, which puts it very high in the running for best-looking game of all time. The colorful, exotic environments are rich with detail, and the game's pacing is so relentless that you never linger in one place long enough to even begin trying to pick at it. A combination of performance capture and crazy technology that we have little hope of understanding produce character animation that impresses simply by looking natural in a way that few games would even know how to approach, let alone have the technical skill to actually pull it off." Recently there was an interesting "Top 5" on G4's X-Play explaining why we do not need a new launch of consoles from the big ones, like Sony, Microsoft, and Ninetedo.  Many of the reasons were quite interesting, like the fact that it would be a mess to transfer all of your saved data onto a new harddrive (nightmare!).  At number 3 however, Uncharted 2 was featured because it showed how much untapped potential in graphics (by other developers, mind you) there is yet to be explored within our current consoles.  It shows how much Naughty Dog pushed their graphics with Among Thieves!

This might be some older news but it's best to know about it sometime than never...right?  Anyways, besides the belated news concerns, the Uncharted series is getting some great additional content in the form of a prequel motion comic book series.  Details are sparse at the time, but what we do know is it will possibly detail how Sully and Drake meant.  A lot more inside...

I had the liberty of adding this video to the Uncharted 2 Video Section.  We've all had our concerns when playing our favorite game, like making sure the volume is just right, there's no glaring reflection on the television - you name it, but obviously this commercial doesn't come close to being a "concern."  Watch the video inside...

Insomniac Games is known to create superb games.  Many players have played both their Resistance series and Ratchet and Clank titles.  When asked what they thought about Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, they had some incredibly kind words about the game.  Naughty Dog has some good friends it seems and while critics and gamers have been drooling over the game, it's especially noteworthy to have developers doing the same.  Full story inside...

Some hilarious and game-defining news can easily come from just watching the gaming communities.  Well, on TeamXbox, members were asked to vote for the Game of The Year.  Tons of seasoned Xbox members insisted that Uncharted 2, while not a 360 title, should easily win the award.  TeamXbox issued the following warning, "Uncharted 2? Seriously people? What’s the name of this website? Fine, it’s supposedly a great game, though none of us have played it yet. We’re willing to accept that it’s a clear winner for best PS3 game of the year, but this is not TeamPS3. It’s cool to be into other games on other consoles, but we’re concentrating on the Xbox 360 here, folks."
